_SmartRAS^®

Small-scale aquaculture and energysmart solutions for an effective resource-managed food production system. With financing secured from RE:Source (Vinnova, Formas and The Swedish Department of Energy) and togehter with the Linköping University we have created the world's most most energy-efficient RAS.

HydroMagic Farms

Think circular! A low-energy landbased recirculating system in a modern and innovative food-production system. We are proud to be a part of tis project and the future of food-production systems with HydroMagic Farms Norge AS.

Tropikariet in Helsingborg

We're so excited about this project! If you haven't visited Tropikariet in Helsingborg, do so! It is such a unique and amazing facility. You will not be disappointed!

What are we doing there? Building a high-tech filter system for their NEW shark and coral reef aquarium of course.

Meeressmuseum Stralsund

Continuing the "aquarium" theme. Stralsund is another unique aquarium in northern Germany built in an old monastery from the middle ages! Quite a demanding jog to get everything to fit in all the alcoves and corners but were have installed both large and small systems in the entire building as well as their new facility.

The city of Stralsund as well as the aquarium are well worth a visit!

University of Hamburg

This is a research facility with 6x RAS aimed at projects in fisheries, aquaculture and ecology. Saga Aqua has been a part of the project together with our good friends at FutureFish Aquaculture och Spranger Kunstoff.

Testbed for RAS - Sotenäs

This project involved a challenging design of a testbed for RAS. We wanted an algae lab for algal research. We needed mini, small, and medium recirculating aquaculture systems and we needed these in replicates and with the extreme flexibility to add and replace components for testing, the ability to operate at a wide range of temperatures and salinities. A completely flexible system in other words. We added respirometer raceways, small, medium and large RAS and all the flexibility you will need in a research facility. Looking forward to it's construction at the centre of circularity in Sweden, Sotenäs!
